Chris's star burned brightly, and burned itself out far too soon. He was loved and will be missed.

This is Chris paddling out to surf off Diamond Head.  We had just returned from a weekend hiking the Kalalau Trail on Kauai, and woke up early to watch him surf.  Later that afternoon there was a spectaular rainbow over Diamond Head, all in all one of our all time favorite days.

We welcome you to share your thoughts and memories of Chris in our guestbook.

Please feel free to send us pictures, poems, and other items celebrating Chris's life, we will be updating this site over the next few weeks.

THE WASHINGTON POST, Sunday, June 17th

CHRISTOPHER HILTON WYATT, formerly of Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD, died at 34 years of age on June 2, 2007.   Chris was the beloved son of Rollyn Wyatt and the late Richard Wyatt, brother of Justin Wyatt and Elizabeth Wyatt, and grandson of Marge Simon.   Chris attended the Sidwell Friends School, where he later coached, and was Captain of the tennis team at the University of Michigan.  The family held a private service.   In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made in Chris's name to the Sidwell Friends School, where a tree will be planted in his honor by the tennis courts (attn: Patricia Carocci at 3825 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC   20016), or your local NAMI chapter.
